About Sandeep

Sandeep is a seasoned representative with a long track record as an executive for some of Hollywood’s biggest and most well-regarded studios and networks.  He began his career as a litigator, specializing in intellectual property disputes mainly in the copyright and trademark arenas.  In 2006, he took an executive position for Warner Bros. Television, the world’s largest independent television studio, where he provided development and production legal services on popular and acclaimed scripted original series such as The Big Bang Theory, The Closer and Pushing Daisies.  He then joined OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, helping launch the network as well as the rebranded Oprah.com website and working on development and production matters for such popular and acclaimed unscripted series such as Our America with Lisa Ling and Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.  From there, Sandeep moved on to FX, where he served as both a studio and network business and legal affairs executive on such popular and acclaimed scripted series as Sons of Anarchy, The Americans and Snowfall. He also served as the head legal executive for the team overseeing marketing and promotions for the entire suite of FX Networks, including the launch of The Simpsons on FX and for event limited series such as American Crime Story and Fargo.  In 2018, Sandeep became head of Business and Legal Affairs for Big Beach, an independent motion picture and television studio where Sandeep worked on feature films such as The Farewell and Land, as well as on acclaimed and popular scripted series such as Sorry for your Loss for Facebook Watch and Vida for Starz, while also overseeing the company’s entire slate of film and television development projects and restructuring the studio’s corporate flowchart.  Over his extensive career, Sandeep has worked on all types of deals - from production overalls to production staffing, intellectual property options to international licensing. He has collaborated with some of Hollywood’s most well-known and brightest talents through the development, production, post-production and distribution processes.  Having worked across a broad spectrum of companies, various types of scripted and unscripted television and film projects, as well as having provided services from development and production to marketing and independent television studio corporate structuring, Sandeep has a unique and potent set of skills, relationships and experiences to draw on to represent you.  In his spare time, Sandeep is an avid reader of the New Yorker, a baseball fan (Go Yankees!), an occasional home-brewer and SCUBA diver, and an amateur but pretty good chef and gardener.
